To spend time with God in His word will do a soul more good than anything you can spend time with..and time is such a limited commodity.No wonder the enemy of our souls does everything he can to distract and pull us away from meditating on the Lord and His Word, for he knows well the power we posses when we learn to weild the sword of the spirit.The devil is always after the Word and is ready to swoop down to steal it away whenever he can.Even faith itself which is compared to a mustard seed that sprouts into a tree that can perch birds of prey in it's branches gives us a picture of the enemy waiting to steal away the precious seed of the word.!
