I have to confess, I’m a big fan of new worship songs. But sometimes I forget just how good some of the old ones are. I was recently listening to the old school Sovereign Grace Music album, Depth of Mercy, and realized that there are some absolutely phenomenal songs on the album.
The first song, All I Have, was written by my dad shortly after he got home from the Civil War. Seriously, it really is a great, God-centered, heart-lifting song. Have a listen.

This second song, I Will Boast In The Cross, was written by Steve and Vicki Cook. Enjoy…

Here’s the coolest part. Sovereign Grace Music is having a massive music sale, and all their CD’s are six bucks. That’s right, you can get this CD for the price of a McD’s value meal. Click here to buy the CD.

I just stumbled over here! I totally agree with this post. At the moment my mom has your guy’s first Hide the Word CD playing over and over again. I must say that I know more scripture now though! (Even if I am getting a little tired of hearing the same thing all day) *laughing* thank you guys for your ministry. it has touched my mom’s life in a way that I can’t even begin to explain. and through this has touched mine. Thank you! God bless!
Thanks Sacha!
Sorry you have to listen to it over and over. Thanks for your encouragement.
Sacha,
Sorry you have to listen to the first Hide the Word CD over and over. I think my dad made that CD in something like 1823, so it sounds a bit outdated. His newer ones are better…
Hey! I just wanted to let you guys know that mom has finally moved on to some of your later cds! : ) Thanks again for your ministry! It has helped our family immensely! The smallest things, sometimes have the biggest effects!
God bless!!
