Kirk Cameron Preaching The Gospel

April 20th, 2008 by Stephen Altrogge

Here’s a video of Kirk Cameron (yes the Kirk Cameron) boldly sharing the gospel. This is really cool, and really compels me toward evangelism.

Thanks, Stephen, for sharing that. It’s a bold, loving, effective approach to helping people see their need of a Savior. I have a lot to learn from Kirk.

Ted - That’s what I appreciate so much about this video. It shows Kirk boldly, yet lovingly sharing that this guy will go to hell if he doesn’t trust in Jesus. I think we’ve all got a lot to learn from Kirk.

Isn’t it wonderful to know that we do not have to be “professional” evangelists?

Basic understanding of our sinful condition, God’s judgement, and Christ’s deliverence!

The only thought I have is the line about “read and obey”. Read the Bible, trust God at Word, show it by obedience.
But hey, I wish with all my heart that the folks in my church would be doing just what he did. I am personally challenged to increase my efforts at street evangelism.

    Thanks again.

    Stephen,

My church is going through a series taught by Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort called “The Way of the Master” which teaches this method seen in this video.
This series has taught me so much about how to effectively use the Law to bring people to the awareness of their sins and their need for a Savior. It has been both convicting and encouraging.

I believe that you can find all eight sessions on YouTube, this is just a snippet from the series.

Thanks for sharing, I enjoy reading your blog.

Thanks for that info Sara. I hope that someday I can be as bold and as clear as Kirk when it comes to sharing the gospel.
