Its comforting to know no matter what trials we face, He is with us in the waves - holding us - his children - securely, not letting us drown. This reminds me of the song "Every Day" from the new "Come Weary Saints" album that says "Thank You for the trial, for the fires, for the pain. Thank You for the strength knowing You have ordained every day... every day You are with me." That song has brought such delight and comfort to my soul - knowing that no matter what because of my union with Christ, He is with me through every day. I can thank Him for the trials despite what my heart tells me, because of my confident assurance that He is with me, sustaining each step of the way. Thanks for the reminder.
