Another Free Scripture Song!

May 19th, 2008 by Stephen Altrogge

Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, it’s that time again! Time for us to give away another free scripture song. For those of you who are new, a scripture song is exactly what it sounds like: a scripture set to song.

Now you’re probably thinking, This should be rich. It probably sounds like something we heard in Sunday school in third grade. Fortunately, that’s not the case. These could be described as catchy tunes with better words.

Thanks - very much appreciated! Any possibility you’ll be posting (publishing) chord/lead sheets?

Jeff - Our pleasure, as always.

Russ - That’s a question for my dad. Not sure what his plan is there. If you had a specific one in mind he could probably get you the chords.

I was thinking about 1 Thes. 5:9-10. That’d be great!

    Dear Mark and/or Stephen…

I downloaded your Scripture songs, and little did I know that I would be diagnosed with breast cancer, and need the reminders and promises these verses hold for times of trial! Along with the Sovereign Grace CD “Come Weary Saints”, these songs have become what I call “my soundtrack”… the soundtrack to my life and trials, my reminders to fix my eyes on jesus. I am grateful to the Lord for how He has encouraged me with your music, and to you both for sharing these freely before I knew I needed them!
    In Him,
    Chris Finnegan
