As a father, coach and participant I found your talk right on target and the emotions that you experienced on the court. I also have experienced both the good and not so good emotions. When I saw this book I didn't want to read it. Why? Because I could never say or use the title of the book to describe my relationship with my Dad. I did downlaod it and I appreciate you making it available free. I want to read it, but it will be hard, I want to read it not for how it reminds me of my Dad, but how I'm impacting my kids and the relationship that I have with them. Thank you so much for putting together this testimony of the grace of God at work in your dad! I think what I like about it most so far is how in the first chapter you've said several times that the events weren't like fireworks...it was just normal life for your dad. It reminds me that sometimes the glory shining through the Present can't be seen until it's reflected on as the Past.
