They are just right ;), I read them all, and very good amounts of scripture.

I don’t think you have used more than 500 words in a post, so I really don’t think they could be much shorter and still be as helpful.
That said, for the sake of full disclosure, Abraham Piper has the only blog that I read every single post in it’s entirety. Maybe I’m lazy, but I try to spend more time reading books than blogs…

In my opinion, they could maybe be longer, but I tend to be a ridiculously avid blog reader. I read every word.
It is helpful that the thoughts are clear and succinct - always turning my thoughts to Scripture and God.
I look forward to your posts every morning. Thanks!

I love your blog! I am a busy homeschool mother of six, so I have very limited time to read blogs everyday. Even if something is great, inspiring, Godly and challenging, if it is too long I just move on, knowing that I don’t have the time to read it. I might save it to read later if I think it is exceptionally good and helpful, but otherwise it gets the flick! I think your posts have been brief enough that I’ll read the whole thing and also pack a good punch by being concise. Having said that…I confess that I am incredibly long winded (in written word and in speech!!!) so I guess it is hypocritical of me to bypass long articles or blog posts! I also figure that I should be spending more time reading Gods’ Word than reading ‘about’ Gods’ Word, if you know what I mean. It is definitely a temptation in the blogosphere!!! Bless you guys and keep blogging for His glory!

I love your blog, it is one of the first things I check in my morning “computer routine”…I appreciate always being pointed to Jesus and reminded of the cross, what He did and who I am, a sinner who received His mercy and grace…I think it is just the right length, and I will try to comment more often..be encouraged brothers!

I have been reading your blog for several months now and have been encouraged and challenged by it. I think it is “just right” because it always points me to Christ and His Word. Thanks for letting Him use you in this way.

Thanks to everyone for their kind words. I hope this doesn’t appear that I was fishing for compliments. I really do want to know the best way to serve you by blogging, even if that means making changes. So thanks for your input!

I don’t think you were fishing for compliment, but I don’t think it could get any better. I already love the stuff I’ve read. I really like how you have some really deep posts and some posts that are subtle. I also like how you guys talk about personal experiences as well as experience from the scriptures. It’s very versatile and entertaining while be spiritually uplifting. That’s hard to come across these days. :]

I voted for “a little too long”, but it was really a toss up for me between that and “just right”. I almost always read every word and am challenged, encouraged, or both. I’ve never felt that I wasted my time reading your blog. If it could be as effective with a few less words, that would help this busy homeschool mom. I will continue to read your blog and recommend it to others because it is making a difference in my life and my focus.
