Just a reminder that tomorrow we’re giving away the book Adopted for Life by Russell Moore. It’s not to late to enter the 2009 Great American Book Giveaway.
Note: If you already entered there is no need to enter again. You’re still included in the drawing.
Here’s the skinny on the book.

The gospel of Jesus Christ—the good news that through Jesus we have been adopted as sons and daughters into God’s family—means that Christians ought to be at the forefront of the adoption of orphans in North America and around the world.
Russell D. Moore does not shy away from this call in Adopted for Life, a popular-level, practical manifesto for Christians to adopt children and to help equip other Christian families to do the same. He shows that adoption is not just about couples who want children—or who want more children. It is about an entire culture within the church, a culture that sees adoption as part of the Great Commission mandate and as a sign of the gospel itself.
Moore, who adopted two boys from Russia and has spoken widely on the subject, writes for couples considering adoption, families who have adopted children, and pastors who wish to encourage adoption.

My husband and I are planning on adopting in the future, this sounds like a wonderful book!!
So thankful that we are adopted children of God! My wife and I are consideing in the future.
The doctrine of adoption has affected me greatly, I found out in my mid thirties that I was adopted. The initial news left me a little unsettled, however I am so very grateful to the Lord that I did not become a statistic and my Mom decided to give me to someone who wanted a child.
I’m even more floored by the truth that the God of the universe is my Father! that He has adopted me through my relationship with His Son, even though I am so undeserving of that status. Adoption is such an amazing picture of the Father’s love toward us. I would love to get my hands on a copy of this book!
