As I don’t have twitter, I’ll have a go on here, though mines not really an “attempt” to explain the doctrine as such, just a thought that’s been on my mind since reading and thinking on John 1 t’other day, and looking at Andrew Wilson’s great book “Incomparable”. My thought has been this:

“God becoming man in the person of Jesus, is an unfathomable miracle – like trying to fit an ocean into a raindrop”.

The highest heavens cannot contain Him, yet He “tabernacled amongst us”! Amazing!

This is a great idea. I’ll take a crack at it, but I’m usually lame with saying things in FEW words! My personal favorite is Luther’s “The mystery of Christ, that He sunk Himself into our flesh, is beyond all human understanding.” Mine won’t be as good as is- surprise, surprise.
