Some Changes For the New Year

Written by Stephen Altrogge

It’s almost the New Year, and to celebrate, I’ve made a few changes to the site.

First, I’ve given the site a new look. I hope you like it.

Second, you’ll see a “Sideblog” over on the sidebar. We’ll be posting things there that we want to share but don’t make a full blog post. If you subscribe to the blog you’ll see these updates in your feed.

Third, I’ve added a “Facebook Share” and a “Twitter Share” button to the bottom of each post. If you enjoy a post, we would appreciate it if you would spread the love by sharing the post on Facebook or Twitter.

Merry Christmas. Happy New Year.

I really like your new site look.

A few things that stand out:

    1) I like the easy navigation at the top of your site (sections on ‘about’, ‘archives’, ‘books’, etc).

    2) I like the RSS, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube icons to the right which are available for easy clicking and the FB and Twitter share buttons at the bottom of your posts to share.

    3) I like the new ’side blog’ (similar to Josh Harris’ blog).

Your blog posts are always a joy to read as they are thought-provoking, humorous, have a great picture that draws me right in and carry an ‘in depth’ approach to them. Your side blog will be a fantastic way to click to some other links you provide, ala what Tim Challies’ provides for his readers via his A La Carte.

I’m looking forward to this new year as I click here to read some more Christ-centered posts. Thank you both for being such a Godly breath of fresh air in the blogosphere.

  2. Dude, this is the first I’ve been over here since the switch. This site looks fantastic… but I’m biased. Now no one’s going to know the difference between our sites when they click through. :>)
