Yep, I was BUSY all right. Then after the service there was always some "legitimate" (really?) worship team business to attend to, which really meant that I was staying within my CZ and talking to the people on the team. That was SO much easier than meeting new people. I love how Piper busts me with "I'm not talking clever strategy here; I'm talking you're REALLY interested." Being shy, I've learned some good tricks for talking to people, which is not a bad thing, but he's right, we should be genuinely interested in them, not just going through the motions or using it as a means to something else. Guess what I'm really afraid of is that they'll say something that stumps or scares or paralyzes me. I need to grow in this area.
