There’s something we often overlook in the midst of conflict: God’s glory.
“If we begin to get a glimpse of the vast glory of God, we will realize that many of our conflicts are like two ants arguing about which is taller while standing in front of Mount Everest.” –Chris Brauns
Next time you’re in a conflict, make your goal the glory of God. God’s glory is infinitely more important than being right, winning an argument, or getting someone to see our side.
Ask yourself, “What do I need to do to bring glory to God in this situation?”

What do you mean? That's always my goal, conflict or not! :>)

Amen Marshall!
Great post, Mark! Great reminder! Great question! Thanks!
Thanks Lisa!
But I had such High Hopes …
… oops, there goes another rubber tree plant.
Hey Jack,
I know the song you're referring to but I bet not many others do….
Mark – can you post this every day?
Actually this is very timely today and I won't go into specifics but to answer your question, I think to show God glory in this conflict I am in today is to show mercy to an individual by not bringing up their faults to them or in front of others. I, someone with alot of faults and incapable of doing anything right before God, has been shown great mercy by God, therefore, I can show the same mercy to someone else. Thanks again for the post Mark.
Great comments, Sara! So good to remember the mercy we have received from the Lord to inspire us to show mercy to others. I believe you brought glory to Jesus today! Thanks Sara!
So good! Thank you for this very helpful reminder.
Thanks Yeller!
