Hey Mark, What a great reminder today! This has been my prayer as of late, that the Lord would give me a desire to want more of Him and to want to know Him better. I know that the only way that's going to happen is to read the letter that He has left for me, His child. May He change all of our wanters! Thanks for yet another very encouraging word!

Thank you for this meaningful yet simple analogy! How often we are like Tom, indeed! We're not naturally inclined to read God's Word and would all be 'destroyed from lack of knowledge' if it wasn't for Jesus and God's Spirit sent to us by Him. We need His help to open, to read, and to understand all the letters, so that we may find the treasures within and be nourished daily. Many blessings to you!
