New Paintings, Prints on Watercolor Paper and Win a Painting

257 No. 1 by Mark Altrogge

I’d like to give someone one of my paintings (that is, a beautiful Giclée duplication of one of my paintings).  Here’s how you can win: Share this post or something about my painting site on Facebook, Twitter or some other way, and tell me you’d like to enter in the comment section below.  Or if you’d like, you don’t have to post on Twitter or Facebook,  just tell me you’d like to enter in the comments below.  In one week, I’ll draw a name from all the entrants, and announce the winner.  Then I’ll contact you and you can pick the painting you’d like and I’ll send it to you.

I’ve also added 3 new paintings to my site, Mark Altrogge Paintings, and I’m now offering all of them both on acid free 100% cotton rag watercolor paper or on stretched canvas.  And I’ve LOWERED THE PRICES.

Thanks for checking out the site and for all the kind comments you’ve made since I opened it.

I have always admired your artwork from way back…. hate to admit how far back! Does high school count as 'way back'? I shared on FB!

Hey Patti! Thanks a lot! I guess we could say high school counts as 'way back' when you get to be our age. But I still feel like I'm around 23. And then I look in the mirror.

Hi Trillia, Thank you for your kind words and for sharing it! Hey don't worry about being a prize hog. I'll enter you…

I love your paintings; the vibrant colors and lighting! It's interesting that your dad's greeting card painting of Yellow Creek is on our mantle for the summer. So cool that you two paint together. (I'm also tempted by the lower prices :) Thanks for posting them for us to admire.

I'd love to be entered to win a painting, but I'm ancient in the ways of technology and am not on Facebook and have no idea how to "Twitter." Can I be entered if I just say I love your paintings and can't afford to buy one right now? (as an aside, thanks, too for the great blog…some of the posts lately have really ministered to me!)

Hi Jack, my talents don't have much practical use… I'll trade you some of mine if you can give me some talent in planning, home maintenance, and maybe a little bit of athletic ability. Oh, and I wouldn't mind a little bit of talent in car maintenance too. Thanks for sharing it. You're entered.

I’d love to have an MVA painting! Thanks for doing this. It’s fun and now I have that nervous competitive feeling in my belly. Can’t wait to find out who wins!

    Hey Mark
I don't really want to enter your competition, cos I'd rather buy a painting from you, but as I have said before, the state of the economy and all, means it will take ages to save up (even though you've lowered the prices). Anyways,,, pleeeease can I enter? :-)
Will you deliver to the UK? In person?
